1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through the London Miniature online store.
London Miniature is a trading name of Lone Schacksen, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

By placing an order through our online store, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These Terms should be read together with our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
London Miniature creates and sells detailed miniature and scale-model products, including physical miniature pieces, modelmaking products and digital files.
We take care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and other information are accurate. Colours may vary slightly between screens and physical materials.
Some products are handmade or produced in small quantities. Minor variations resulting from the handmade or production process are not considered defects where they are consistent with the product description.
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights as a consumer. Our products will be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose as required by applicable law.
3. AGE RECOMMENDATION AND PRODUCT SAFETY
Our physical miniature and scale-model products are collector's items intended for display and for customers aged 14 years and over.
They are not toys and are not suitable for children under 14.
Some products contain small, delicate or detachable parts which may present a choking hazard.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are used and displayed appropriately and kept away from young children.
4. ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products shown in your order.
After you place an order, we will send an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
We may be unable to accept an order in circumstances including product unavailability, an obvious pricing or listing error, or where we are unable to fulfil the order.
If we are unable to accept an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency applicable to the customer and include any taxes that we are legally required to include in the displayed price.
Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before an order is accepted. If an obvious error affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact you before proceeding.
6. DELIVERY
We deliver to the destinations and at the shipping rates shown at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, customs processing and carrier disruption.
International customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and, where applicable, complying with local import requirements.
Any customs duties, import taxes or other charges that may apply to an international order will depend on the destination and the arrangements shown at checkout.

7. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
For physical products, customers may have a legal right to cancel an online order within the applicable cancellation period. Details of how to exercise this right, together with our returns and refund arrangements, are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.
Certain products may be excluded from cancellation rights where permitted by law, including products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not conform to the contract, your statutory consumer rights apply regardless of any cancellation or returns policy.
8. DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Where we sell digital files or other digital content, the product description will explain what is included and the file formats supplied.
Digital content is supplied for the customer's personal use unless the product description expressly states otherwise.
Where applicable, you will be asked to acknowledge that you wish digital content to be supplied immediately and that, once supply begins, you may lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right for that digital content.
If digital content is faulty, does not match its description or does not meet the requirements applicable to digital content under consumer law, your statutory rights continue to apply.
9. PERSONAL AND COMMERCIAL USE
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, digital files purchased from London Miniature are licensed for the purchaser's personal use.
You may print or manufacture items for your own personal use, subject to the specific licence or restrictions stated in the individual product listing.
You must not resell, redistribute, share, reproduce or commercially exploit the digital files themselves, or make them available for others to download.
Where a product is supplied with a specific commercial licence, the terms of that licence will apply to the extent stated in the product listing.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All designs, artwork, photographs, digital files, text and other original content created by London Miniature remain the intellectual property of London Miniature or the relevant rights holder.
Purchasing a product or digital file does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to the customer.
You may not reproduce or use our designs, images or digital files in a way that infringes our intellectual property rights.
11. CUSTOM AND BESPOKE PRODUCTS
Where we agree to create a custom or bespoke product, the agreed specifications, price and timescale will be confirmed before work begins.
Custom or personalised products may have different cancellation and return rights where permitted by law.
If a custom product is faulty, damaged or does not conform to the agreed specification, your statutory rights continue to apply.
12. WEBSITE CONTENT
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date.
We may update product information, prices, availability and website content from time to time.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from technical interruptions, although we will take reasonable steps to maintain the service.
13. LIABILITY AND YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
In particular, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights or our responsibility for faulty or misdescribed goods, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those rights and legal requirements, we are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated at the time the contract was formed.
14. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as significant postal or courier disruption, natural disasters, serious technical failures or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applying to an order will be the Terms that were available when that order was placed.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have the benefit of any mandatory protections available to you under the law of the part of the UK in which you live.
